It is true you can, but only when the vehicle is parked and not on the road. Legally it is an offence to not wear a seatbelt in these vehicles, as with all limo's for hire in Perth, which is a $500 fine for each person not wearing a seatbelt. Then we have the safety issues of 14 people standing and dancing in the unfortunate event of a accident or even hard braking to avoid one, I think you get the picture.
Don't get me wrong, I am not bagging these Limo Vans, we are a booking agent for one such vehicle, we just want our clients to arrive at their destiation safely and without any unexpected, additional costs. They are great for moving a larger group of people with the added benefit of being able to stand and walk to the back of the limo van. Also for the client who needs to move a group of people in limo style luxury, but wants to be low key with their arrival.
